I am the Funding Development Officer at Foreland Fields Charity, which supports Foreland Fields SEN School in Ramsgate.
We are currently raising funds to build a pavilion that will form the center of a specialist disability sport and leisure hub, located behind the school. The hub will be used by pupils and students of the school, as well as local disability partners including East Kent Mencap, Thanet Galaxy PAN Disability football, and Inclusive Sport.
One of the ways we are raising funds is by raffling off a cricket bat that has been signed by the 2021 Kent Cricket Men's Squad. Tickets cost £1 each and the draw will take place on the 17th December - in time for Christmas.
I am contacting local clubs and schools that have a history with cricket, hence my email to Broadstairs Cricket Club, to ask if there would be any interest in purchasing raffle tickets. We would be incredibly grateful if you would be willing to share our raffle amongst your cricket community. All money raised will help us build our pavilion and will make a difference to children and young people living with Profound, Complex, Special Needs.
