Broadstairs Cricket Club began their season with a sobering defeat against a formidable Whitstable side, underscoring the stiff competition they will face in the division this year. The loss serves as a stark reminder of the level of performance required to hold their own in the challenging league.
Winning the toss and opting to bat first, Whitstable exhibited their strength from the outset in ideal, sunny conditions tailor-made for batting.
