Broadstairs made it five wins out of six matches completed with a 66 run victory over Nonington, gaining revenge for their defeat against the same opposition earlier in the season. The match didn't start well for the hosts who suffered a series of early wicket losses and they found themselves struggling at 65-6 just after the half-way mark. However, a commanding rearguard action from a re-jigged lower middle order got the innings back on track with key contributions from Alex Hogben (59), Elliot Fox (52) and Harry Carter who finished 37 not out after facing just 18 balls. By the end of the 40th over, Broadstairs had set a very respectable target of 200 and one that represented a significant challenge for the visitors. The opening bowling partnership of Bradley Ellison and Carter placed an early stranglehold on the Nonington reply and by the end, the visitors were restricted to 134-8 with wickets shared between Bradley Ellison (3), Chris Kidd (2), Jamie Dewell, George Kidd and Nathan Fox.
