Proposed Tree Works

15 Feb 2023

Following on from a tree survey carried out by Treeveys Consulting back in May 2022 on the Cricket Clubs behalf we have made an application to Thanet District Council to carry out the tree works recommended.

Most of the works are to maintain the health and wellbeing of the trees but one tree T021 Beech is deemed unsafe and it has been recommended that it is cut down to ground level.

This is not a decision taken lightly as the tree has been a feature of the ground for many years but on the advice of the tree expert and with the possibility that it could potentially fail and fall these works will be carried out in the week commencing 20th February.

The TPO application to Thanet District Council is on their online portal if anyone wished to view it.
