In August this year there is a contingency of 13 Scouts from Thanet joining Kent Scouts who are going to Ghana on a charity mission. The Scouts (all aged between 14 and 25) have each raised almost £2,500 to enable them to do this charity event and will be going for 2 weeks to assist in building schools and helping with education. Some of the Scouts have chosen to spend time in Ghana teaching sports.
We are pleased to support the growth in cricket participation wherever in the world.
